We lost a giant of music on Easter Sunday. He was truly a unique voice as a guitarist and composer. Rest in peace Allan and thanks for the all the music.
Very sad news. Jon Lord passed away earlier today from pancreatic cancer. Pull out your favorite classic Deep Purple CD and celebrate this great musician's life... :waah:
I've been noticing lately (call that the last 3 years) than numerous Nuclear Blast discs in my collection have interesting quality issues. The sound quality is usually good (not withstanding the loudness wars), however, here are some examples of what I am talking about:
1) Rage - 21: Three...
Has anyone on the forum noticed that Simone's vocals (and Mark's growling) are missing from the track "Serenade Of-Self Destruction?" I got the CD as a birthday gift last week and was listening to it for the first time today when I noticed that something was wrong with that track. Then, I...
You know how sometimes an album grabs you by the throat from the first track? And then the second tracks comes on and there's no let up? What albums hold that for you?

4. Led Zeppelin -...
Hey Ken,
Quick question: Are the Djam Karet reissues of "Reflections From The Frirepool," "Burning The Hard City," and "Suspention & Displacement" that you have on the site remastered or they just straight reissues?
Thx,
Leyth
Hey Ken,

Thx,
Leyth
