Continuing the trend. 1992 is without a doubt in my mind death metal's greatest year. Choose your favourite.

I'm relatively new to Traditional Doom Metal and so far I am fucking loving it immensely. I'm interested in finding more more bands along the lines of Candlemass, Solitude Aeturnus, Scald and Reverend Bizarre. I'm already somewhat familiar with the likes of Trouble, Saint Vitus, Pentagram...

I'm interested in finding more mid-paced Death Metal along the lines of Deathevokation, Runemagick (The Supreme Force of Eternity), Necros Christos, Amorphis, Autopsy, etc. There's not a lot that isn't ridiculously obscure in the old-school that I haven't heard, so try to limit it to more...

I'm in search of bands such as Morrigan, later Graveland, Nachtfalke, Woodtemple and Iuvenes - bands that have obviously been heavily influenced by the Hammerheart era of Bathory. Surely there's more of this stuff out there. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

I need some recommendations for decent thrash metal. I'm already well acquainted with Kreator, Destruction, Sodom, Dark Angel, Slayer, Exhorder, Sepultura, Coroner, Watchtower and a few others that have slipped my mind. Any recommendations for death/thrash similar to Massacra are also welcome.

I just bought this today..And I must say it is fucking incredible.!! The songs are top notch and sound amazing live.. This is some good money spent..BTW I live in a place where no good metal bands dare to tread so i have never seen a good metal show..\m/Hypocrisy\m/

A while back I downloaded the At the Gates song 'Legion'..I recently found out that the song is a cover of the Australian death metal band 'Slaughterlord'..I really like this song and wonder if anyone knows anything about this band/where to find mp3s etc..Much appreciated.
