Sorry? Why? PRIMAL FEAR is worthy enough to headline the big show one day. Why not the Showcase in 2008? Did you miss their performance at PP8?

With just about a month until the main event tix go on sale, I thought I'd fire up the Showcase discussion again. Gotta figure Shane is close on at least the beginning two bands.

PRIMAL FEAR has been headling tours in Europe since 2001. So, yes, I would think PF is a tad larger name than PAGAN'S MIND. While I'm here, PRIMAL FEAR would rule as the Showcase headliner.

Some combination of Pagan's Mind, Nocturnal Rites, Avian, A Lower Deep. I'll let someone else determine the order -- I don't want to be yelled at.

I'd also love another chance at seeing Vanden Plas but who knows how the whole immigration issue would get sorted out and if that whole ordeal left such a bad taste in the band's mouth that they'd even want to make another attempt. I'm also on board with those who've suggested Primal Fear and MindFlow as I'm a fan of both bands. Hell, I'll show up no matter what the line-up so even if Tokyo Blade is announced as a surprise headliner I'll show up!

I am sure that Shane has a big treat in store for everyone, and I for one have no clue as to who he is pursuing, but knowing his ability and his desire to put on a great show who knows. Maybe a surprise that will have people saying "OH MY GOD"

So what? That doesn't change the fact that Primal Fear is bigger than Pagan's Mind. Is Pagan's Mind gaining popularity? Yup. Are they headlining German fests an opening for Halford in the US? No, not yet.
