We are very pleased to announce that all dates marked with an * are with our very special guests - WHITESNAKE!

I will be going to the St. Augustine show! Cant wait!

Yeah I was just about to post this, great that there is an Atlanta show this time, although tickets have yet to go on sale for it. I'm there!!!

Well, Nashville tix are $75 a pop, but that's without the "TicketBastard" fees. Concert tix prices are out of control these days, at least with these veteran and mainstream bands. Piss on it, I'm sitting this one out. Send me a postcard.

Vegas date isn't on sale yet. But I'm seeing Heaven & Hell the night before in Vancouver. So, I might be skipping JP this year.

While I'd love to see either the Priest or Metallica tours that are finally coming through Atlanta, I'll be damned if I'll pay 70/80/90 dollars just for them in such a large venue. Seats at a metal show? Fuck that.

Plus, not to ruffle too many more precious ProgPower forum feathers (probably will), but Whitesnake? Really? They're still relevant at all?

Popevil? I thought Anvil was rumored to be the opening act?
I definitely wanna be at the Alpharetta show! ROCKIN' THE SUBURBS LIKE QUIET RIOT!

Feathers not ruffled, but Whitesnake has been around a very long time. They've been through a few line up changes, but have always had a killer band. I' love to see a reunion with John Sykes, but I doubt that will happen.
Seeing 'Snake with Reb Beach & Doug Aldritch would be awesome. DC's voice is still mostly ok, and it should be a great show. Who is the judge of whether or not a band is relevant anyway?

I can't get into all the 80s rock that this board loves so much. Priest is undeniably metal to the extreme, but Whitesnake is just the poppy sugar candy of its day. This is just my opinion, of course.

Palabra, you need to simply move past the whole 80's imagine that you despise so much and take a good listen to the s/t effort and Slip of the Tongue. Both John Sykes and Steve Vai are guitar gods and they prove it on their Whitesnake albums. While Doug Aldrich is a great player, he'll never match up to those two guys for me. With that said, he would still be great to see with the band in a live situation.

By the way, you seem to really hold Judas Priest in high regard, but they experimented with a much more "commercial" sound back then as well.
