I love both bands, but man, you'd need to bring a pillow for that show. Neither band is particularly high energy.
As for a bit of irony, I'm going to the Rockstar Mayhem Festival the next day.

I might get flamed for this... but I think Yes sounds fine with Rabin's vocals. I mean the 90124 demos sounded good. I am a fan of Rabin's solo "Can't Look Away" and the live album he cut touring from it.

for your enjoyment here's a Yes lineup with Trevor Rabin, Steve Howe, Alan White, and Chris Squire. You'll have to turn your volume up.

Thanks for that video link, there! Anything that starts off with "Cinema" can't be bad, and that clip was really good.

The "you'll want to bring a pillow" crowd might not Get It, but oh well.

Pity there's no Atlanta date....on the other hand, tickets would probably cost the Moon.

I've got my tickets for the Warfield!!

Third times a charm... YES has cancelled two straight shows on me!!! Both because of health reasons... lol I guess they really are getting old... But they RULE!

Looking forward to seeing Asia again after many years...

I actually prefer them with Trevor Rabin. More catchy and hooky tunes, plus Trevor used distortion on his playing and Steve Howe really doesn't. My favorite YES albums are "90125", "Big Generator", "Open Your Eyes", and "The Ladder". I know Billy Sherwood plays on OYE and TL. I prefer Billy over Steve Howe for the same reason. A little more kick and rock edge to the guitar playing. I also love Trevor Rabin's voice. Forgot to mention that. Same thing with ASIA. I prefer any of the guitar players after Steve Howe. Especially when they had Al Pittrelli.

Trevor's "Can't Look Away" album is great.

I think my favorite Yes album is "Talk" with "Endless Dream" being my favorite Yes song.
