Enter The Grave wasn't just thrashier, it also had some more epic songs like We Who Are About To Die and Man Against Machine. I would hardly call the album generic. The fact is, by definition avant-garde music is less popular, and harder to get into, so I wouldn't call someone an idiot for not liking it that much. Saying that I do enjoy a fair bit of avant-garde music, but what's wrong with enjoying good old thrash?

I look at the same way one does at Vio-lence. It's pretty much the best thrash can get, while still being "standard" thrash.

I spend 500 miles a week on the road, and both Evile albums are in my CD player for at least 400 of them. And they both get at least one run each on the PC while Im at work, every day.

They're both awesome in their own right, and they help me get through my day.

And it really doesn't fucking matter which one is better. I mean, It's like trying to compare tits to asses. Fuck it, I'll take both.
