The Official Seven Kingdoms Tour Diary

What the hell happened to the door of that DODGE CHARGER????

dude this place was litterally in the middle of nowhere. apparently the guy we rented that thing from owns like most of those houses there in that town of maybe 1000?

what kind of wierd town is this that people look like dogs.

hahaha yes it was the guys dogs. that was our first funny spur of the moment thing.

seriously though we thought we were lost for the longest time because that place is like barren. They build those rigs in an old gym that they converted into a garage.

I lol'd. :)

Not sure if these people are really interested in growing their business, but if so, they REALLY need to consider moving closer to a larger city, or making it easier to get to them for band-rentals. You mentioned yourself how much of a pain it was to get there....
These guys have a pretty good product at a decent price (especially for mid-tier touring bands), but saying they're a little out of the way is like saying Rhapsody* contains just a little cheese.

* of FIRE!

The seattle show was awesome but totally hectic. The venue seemed totally Ill equipped for having 3 bands playing. Bull crap parking rules, some weird no sound till 5pm, and terrible security and staff. Security "ripped" a beer directly out of Hansi's hands.

People just don't "rip" a beer out of the hands of Hansi.

Sound staff was awesome though and made the best of a 5 minute line check, and was actually better than a few of the shows so far for on stage sound.

Crowd was awesome and we had a blast.

Fixin to hit the sack at some random California Walmart! We have already enjoyed several of the Govenators movies to get pumped for the next few Cali gigs :)

San francisco venue is beautiful! Awesome staff so far. Parking was a breeze.

The dude that parked us looked just like morphius from the matrix! Hahaha

Heres to a great show!!!

And I'm suppose to know who you are and what your intent is with your post compared to anyone else in the thread?

Glenn, we pretty much all assume you know who everyone is, with whom they've performed, their favorite beer, their favorite venue where Blackguard has played, and who we think are hotter: Simone or Charlotte.

Because, well, you are just cool like that.

Some shots from LA of Camden and Sabrina.

More coming, probably in a day or two. The crowd in LA was pretty into the set, but nothing like in Tempe, holy crap, the band and the audience was rockin it HARD.

Only got a few minutes till stage time in denver,

New Mexico show had maybe 75 people there? Lol it was like a joke for guardian, but the crowd was great nevertheless.

Looks like close to a packed house tonight in Denver! Sound seems pretty good, were ready to destroy :)

You know, when I initially saw the dates for this tour I had a feeling that Blind Guardian were maybe trying to go to too many places -- some of which just don't have the demand for them. Seems like that is the case here as you guys have had some solid crowds and then some really low number crowds.

Ya apparently it was an "experiment" from their booking agents? That's what Hansi told me....

Denver was just amazing though. I honestly could die happy tonight. Everything went well and I finally got to see the perfect BG show. I don't think I can even talk now lol!

I can't wait to play ATL. That is the show I'm honestly looking foward to the most. Hope to see everyone there!

Being the overworked bastard that I am, I had to make a choice: Epica, et al vs. Blind Guardian and Youse Guys.

I chose your show... possibly because I owe you a drink. Great album, I enjoy it a lot. Between yours and Halcyon Way's latest, my iPod is happy.

Come to the show in Tampa/St. Pete this Saturday (12/18), and you can see BG, 7K and HW all in one night! :headbang:

In my younger, thinner days, I could have pulled that off.

But now I am a husband, dad, and coach (not necessarily in that order), so I am lucky to be able to catch the Sunday Show in my hometown!

I actually floated Tampa as a roadtrip for the family, because She Who Must Be Obeyed's brother lives there... got shot down in glorious flames. :hotjump: That was BEFORE a wrestling tournament got scheduled for this weekend.

Nope - my first Halcyon Way show must wait, alas.
