I have been playing drums for almost 9 years, since I was 9 years old. My band is like rust in peace era megadeth, but better, and me and my lead guitarist have I side project we just started with one of our friends, which is like spastic ink/liquid tension instrumental type stuff. Oh, and my drum kit, lets just say I have tons of drums. I have a blue 70s vintage ludwig vistalite kit, size, 6", 8", 10", 12", 13", 13", 14", 15", 16", 16", 18" toms, 3 22" basses, matching 14" snare drum, a tama piccolo snare, a vintage olympic premier drum from the 60s in mint condition, and my newest addition, a one of a kind DW snare drum that is mirror chrome with gold plated hardware, it is so beautiful, which was owned by Johhny Barbatos, he has played drums for tons of classic rock type bands, like jefferson airplane, jefferson starship, and stuff like that, and it is signed by him. As for cymbals, I think I have 28, all K, avedis, and A custom zildjian cymbals. I don't use all of my kit though, right now i am only using, 10", 13", 15", and 16" toms, DW snare, one bass, and 9 cymbals. If anybody wants any extra vistalite drums, I might be willing to sell a few of the drums.
I have been playin drums for about 9 years. I noticed that most of the musicians who listen to power metal have been playing their instruments for quite some time. I feel that in most of the music we listen to although complexity isnt everything you have to have quite a bit of knowledge and skill to be able to play these types of songs. I have been drummin for 9 years and i still feel that there are many things that i still need to learn. Hails to you all for playin and for the drummers out there is it just me or is pornoys drum video just fuckin awesome!!

hell, im not as experienced as you guys are...i started with the classical guitar (and i still play it) in august 2001, and just started playing bass...
