Thanks for the words.

I can assure you that we all take this very seriously, and would never break up for nothing. Joel, Matt, Rick (not forgetting Mike, you rule Mike) and I have been playing and recording together since 1990, and we have a genuine interest in each others lives. We have been through hard times and great times (Bon Jovi, Prog Power, etc), and thus have many memories.

I can tell you that in general, I am the catalyst of pushing the band where it is today (not touring). I want that said so that those out there that care, understand that Joel and Matt would be on a whirlwind tour by now if it weren't for me. I can tell you, If things were to change financially for the prog industry, then Stride would be on the road. Let's hope that happens.

Finally.... As I said above, I appreciate your kind words and hope we can bring you and everybody else a great third album. I can tell you that it will be heavier.:headbang:

I think those who have followed Stride certainly benefit greatly from the time, effort, and emotion you all put into your music. It's unfortunate that touring more outside the Houston area isn't in the cards right now, but metal fans are typically a patient breed, and I'm sure you guys want it just as much as we do. When it comes, it will be great...no doubt about that. It must really be irritating to see unsubstantiated rumors floating around on a forum where you guys(Mike and Gary) have seemingly grown fond of posting, and then to see non-band members claiming to be in the know about something so important to you. Sometimes, it seems like people claim to be privy to "inside info," just for the sake of knowing something others don't. It's a shame, really...

Rocky, You've always been a classy guy, and I can tell you that the band appreciates you and your Chi-Town buds loyalty to Stride. Of course it doesn't hurt that your a Beatles fan (you know how i feel about them).

...Score one for the Home Team!

SCORE!!!
