Albums that you *LOVE*...and everyone else hates...

Queensryche - Tribe
Third Eye Blind - discography. (never said it had to be a metal album  )
Metallica - Load & Reload.
Nightingale - discography (apparently there's no Swanö love around here)
Unicorn - discography. see ^
Sirenia.
Spock's Beard - Feel Euphoria
Pink Floyd - The Division Bell
Pineapple Thief - Variations on a Dream
Papa Roach - Getting Away With Murder (no, this is no mistake.)
Burst - Origo
100 rock/alternative bands.

do you want me to list them all, or just enough to give a rough idea of how shitty my music tastes are? ;)

Dream Child - Reaching the Golden Gates (one of the weird ones I'm best known for on other forums)
Winter's Bane - Girth
Crystal Eyes - World of Black and Silver
Arkhe - s/t
Stratovarius - Twilight Time and Fright Night
As I Lay Dying - Frail Words Collapse and Shadows Are Security
Into the Moat - The Design
Scanner - Scantropolis
Heaven's Gate - Hell For Sale!
Winger - In the Heart of the Young
Ratt - Reach for the Sky
Mundanus Imperium - The Spectral Spheres Coronation
Black Sabbath - Dehumanizer
Elegy - Manifestation of Fear
Megace - Inner War
Power Symphony - Lightbringer (actually, I know this is horrible... but I love it anyway :) )

P.S. There is plenty of love for Swano here... you just have to look for it. Edge of Sanity... Moontower... Pan-Thy-Monium... Odyssey... Bloodbath... it's all good (except for Unicorn. )

aha! then i was right in posting it considering the thread title :kickass:

Stratovarius - Elements Pt1 & Pt2

I wonder why these albums are so underrated. Tolkki put all his creativity in these albums and the result is beyond all their previous releases, reacing the skies. Or should I say stratospheres? *lol* His illness that burst out after these releases just stole the attention and narrow minded people started to slash his person and forgot the great music.

Europe - The Final Countdown (this band takes a lot of crap but I love 'em!)
Kingdom Come - S/T (another band ripped for being a clone......)
Poison - Look What The Cat Dragged In (ok...quit laughing)
Helloween - Pink Bubbles Go Ape (not sure why I even like this one!!)
Yngwie Malmsteen - Fire and Ice (see Pink Bubbles....)

Wow, that's been a while... they were part of my first-ever rock concert back in '88!!

If you bring either of those to the wedding, we'll make the DJ play something!!! :)

Shaye

If you need them let me know I can bring them or mail them to you ahead of time. Just let me know

Here's a few:

Kingdom Come - S/T (I agree with the previous post....Zeppelin rip-off
or not, this is a great disc!)
Mr. Big - pretty much everything, esp. their first 3 discs. Yeah, it's a
bit on the bubble-gum metal side, but the songwriting's good
and you can't argue the musicianship.
Winger - Pull (their last disc, and BY FAR their best...it's easily 1000X
better than the first two, which I don't care for. Except for
Kip's voice, you might not even realize it's the same band)
Rush - Grace Under Pressure (I've heard a lot of Rush fans (and the
band themselves) bash this disc, but it's one of my fave Rush CDs)
Dream Theater - Falling into Infinity (yeah, it's got some crap on it, but it
also has some of my favorite DT songs....Lines In The Sand, Trial
of Tears, and Peruvian Skies).
Extreme - "III Sides to Every Story" (I've heard people bash it a lot, but
it's actually my favorite Extreme CD, and I like all of 'em. If
nothing else, the CD and section titles are cool: Three Sides to
Every Story: Yours, Mine, and The Truth. How true!)

Metallica - Load

It isn't so much that people hate it. So much as, many metal fans did. Ok. Its not as good as Ride the Lightning, Master of Pupperts, the Black album, nor and Justice for all [I haven't listened to Kill 'em all enough to have an opinion). So what. I think its a good album.

Black Sabbath - Mob rules

I guess a lot of people probably love it. But I really don't care for Ozzy Black Sabbath. So this album makes me able to say that I enjoy Black Sabbath. Not sure how many others liked this album this much over their other work to be able to say that.

WHAT! I'm with you, Mob Rules is a classic....geeze!
