Tate is richer than you.
I'm guessing that was directed at me. So I will ask, what does that have to do with anything? And do I care?
That was just a stupid reply.

I'm not ashamed to admit it - this actually brings me to tears seeing how one of my all-time favorite bands has sunk to this level.
Dear Geoff, Michael, Scott, and Eddie:
Please give a call to Mr. Degarmo. Set up a nice steak dinner somewhere. Lay all of your cards and emotions out on the table. Then formally agree to go into a studio somewhere in Seattle and create an array of tunes which combines the brilliance of Rage For Order with the intelligence of Operation Mindcrime and the commercial accessibility of Empire. Then go out and play some shows......with just the 5 of you and your instruments.
Thank you,
Your fans.
Why do some people insist on DeGarmo being the one who could write good songs and the others not? DeGarmo wrote most of the songs on HiTNF and several of those on Tribe, whereas O:MII (which actually was pretty good) didn't have any DeGarmo penned tunes.
Wow Scott Rockenfield is using a beast of a kit again. The Ryche are back obviously m/
, I would not want to see Geoff Tate dressed like Boomhauer from King of the Hill. For any reason.

And for all of the people wailing about how DeGarmo needs to be back in the band, give it up. He's not coming back, and if he did it wouldn't make any difference. Does everyone need to be reminded that he wrote and performed on Hear in the Now Frontier? All that can be assumed is that he recognized at that point that the glory days were long gone, and he bailed. And he's only kept himself peripherally involved in music since then. He's not the answer - he's just the only one that realized that the train ride was over and managed to get out with his dignity intact.
