Circle II Circle/Circus Maximus/Manticora tour news (changes announced)

If I had my way and ran shit I would have Manitora and Circus Maximus opening the few North American dates for Iron Maiden. Imagine those two bands opening for the Powerslave, Somewhere In Time, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son tour?

Is there a schedule that lists both the dates and venues for this tour?? Something that can be posted elsewhere to get the word out there - albeit far off, it's never to soon to start sellin' some tix :)

I'm going to try to get to the Houston show, hopefully the plant isn't closed yet(we are closing it up,its falling apart)
Y'all are not keeping me from seeing this by denying us a Fla date, lol

Dude, how much longer til an NYC date is confirmed? Trying to plan the road trips. A vague heads-up would help.

AMBR, are you driving to multiple shows? Or is anyone else from the NY-area crew for that matter? I NEED to hit multiple dates on this tour.

if someone would kick the NYC venues asses into gear to where they would at least respond to me - 'yes', 'no', 'go to hell' - something would be better no response at all. I've been working on NYC longer than anything else besides Chicago, and they refuse to give me the time of day. So don't blame me if you're not getting answers fast enough. :Smug: Imagine how I feel sitting here waiting for a return call or a return email - anything.

For what it's worth, I finally have a promoter this past week who is trying locally in NYC to do what I've been stressing over for months now. And so far he's met with the same warm and fuzzy reception - dead silence.

Have you tried Melodic Revolution in Clinton, NY? That's the place MindFlow played. It's pretty far north, but the guys said it was a great venue with an awesome and hospitable staff. They cater to more prog rock but who knows, maybe they can host this show too! :headbang:

*drum roll please...*

CHICAGO has been CONFIRMED!

Sunday, Mar 9th, 2008 @ Legends Music Cafe
701 W Lake St
Addison, IL 60101

Please give it up for Chris Lotesto of Ion Vein for the assist! :headbang:

I am so there....awesome! :worship:

Assuming Chris hasn't already tried to get one of his own projects on the bill as a local opener, may I suggest two Chicago bands that would be good fits for this show: Sacred Dawn ( http://www.myspace.com/sacreddawnmusic ) and Bavmorda ( http://www.myspace.com/bavmordarocks ). Sacred Dawn was on this year's ProgPower sampler, and Bavmorda's members regularly post here.
