Pick your two slot # 3 bands for Prog Power next year

Black Majesty are great, but definitely not a third slot band. I don't even think they have 2 albums out and us two are probably the only two people who know who they are!!! However, they would be a great opener or second slot choice.

I know who they are and I have their album. They would be a 1st slot band at best. They are a very talented band, but definitely not a 3rd slot band at PP.

Ok, Babs' prediction for an odd-ball band for the #3 slot is:

Shaman or Sonata Arctica

I would toss in The Gathering, but being that Anneke (lead singer) is pregnant more than likely they will not be on this year's festival.

While they are a good band I don't know if they'll have enough stage energy.... if you look at their live videos in the website (http://www.persuader.nu/download.htm) they seem to be lacking

Concur. With them opening for Nightwish, and probably not coming too cheaply for Glenn (it's a loooong way from Finland), I can't see Glenn booking them for anything but a headlining slot, if he were to book them at all. There wouldn't be too much point to book them for a 45-minute set, since Nightwish's tour with them Stateside is shaping up to be fairly inclusive and widespread.
