Mine would be

FRIDAY
Headline - Edguy
Dir Sup. - Iced Earth (again)
band 3 - Hammerfall (Thanks glen, bring them back AGAIN!! AND AGAIN!!! LOL)
band 2 - Seven Kingdoms (would be awesome to play on this lineup!)
opener - Stormwarrior (as you can see PPXI is pretty much already a dream!)

SATURDAY
Headliner - Blind Guardian
Dir Sup. - Avantasia
Band 3 - Savage Circus
Band 4 - Stratovarius
Band 5 - Hibria

Saw Agalloch last month.....great show....they were really tight. It is funny....they have thier own smoke machine guy.

Tuatha De Danann should be at the top.

I agree, of course, I'd extend the time to give every band at least an hour. I'd love to swap Tuatha and Iced Earth in my lineup, but I was utterly floored by IE's live show, and I did NOT like IE going in. Sabaton must headline in my ultimate fest. as must Elvenking.

1. I can't believe you're actually creating rules for a fantasy topic. Really? I mean, come on, there's no rhyme or reason to take this thread seriously at all except for free market research for Glenn. Want proof? Look at my lineup and tell me it has a shot in hell. Ever.

2. "Usually" implies commonality. However, there was only 1 year that a full 12 bands played. Other years, it has either been 10, or 11 bands. MOST of the time, it has been 10. But, the idea of this thread was 5 bands per night.

edit: oh and I'd like to replace Iron Savior for Persuader. ... well, I wouldn't LIKE to, but I had to drop someone. 6/10 returning bands seemed pretty heavy. I'd like some new blood in my fantasy lineup.

Ihsahn would be bad ass. Probably won't happen though due to him being too heavy, even though he is VERY prog-oriented now. Regardless though, I'd give my left arm to see him at the festival. lol.
