I am really enjoying DF's newest CD! See y'all at the show! I am totally unfamiliar with Turisas, but that will soon change!

I will definitely be there and I got a confirmation from 2 of my friends they will definitely be there

I'm trying to get 3 (possibly 4) more to go. So there might be a mob of my friends also going. This show is gonna be so fun. I can't wait

Dragonforce is in Atlanta, looks like I may go... Cashman and friends have done their jobs and had them play somewhere besides the hellhole of all Atlanta venues (Masquerade). Tabernacle is a great choice... that or Roxy is where all metal bands should play.

Heh, Dragonforce has only played the Masquerade once before. This'll be their second time at the Tabernacle.

Sorry, just meant I'm not a fan of the Masquerade. I like Tabernacle or Roxy alot more. I knew they played Tabernacle, believe one of the shows was last year.

I wish I/we could take credit, but I don't think we had much to do with it (aside from playing Dragonforce periodically on WREKage).
Dragonforce is clearly bigger than the Masquerade at this point.

Well, at any rate, I count it a privilege to get to see a great metal show in Atlanta WITHOUT having to deal with Masquerade. Really looking forward to Tabernacle.

Warehouse environment + smaller venue means everybody is closer to stage + definetely better looking bartenders + $5 parking versus $15 ==> Masquerade is definetely better and more metal venue than Tabernacle.

skrew hating kansas, arkansas is worse. the 6 hour drive to hit this tour makes it a definite no-go

Kansas City does get some shows, but they are in shitty venues. I got you beat though its a nine hour drive for me to chicago.

All I'm saying is that I like Tabernacle better than Masquerade. Better sound, more room etc. at Tabernacle. To me, Masquerade is a dump. Just my opinion, that's all.

Yeah parking for Masq is better for sure. BTW don't pay $15. You can buy a parking ticket ahead of time I think for under $10. But I don't know where this lot is hehe. I was shocked how much a near lot cost last time though.

Overall Tabernacle is superior in all the ways Mr. Exploding Ned described. Even has decent pizza. And it has chairs (if it sells enough tickets and the balcony is open) for those of us who don't care to stand through every set ... or generally like to be able to see.

9 hours to go the Congress Theater isnt worth it....Congree has THE WORST SOUND ever. I am so bummed that it is there.

Agreed. The Tabernacle may have better sound but the Masq just has that awesome vibe. I love it.

And you can park for free if you park on the side. You just gotta watch out for bums.
