"Ukkosenjumalan Poika" is possibly the greatest pagan/viking song ever. And "Sankarihauta" is right up there too. Not sure if I like their most recent album, but everything from Suden Uni through to Verisakeet is top notch. Haven't heard the new EP yet.

I'm really beginning to like Rvbicon. It's by far their most accessible. "Thermopylae" is glorious! Otherwise, AR seem seriously progressive to me. They are like the Blind Guardians of black metal!!!! And 5 albums in 15 years? Pick your fave.

I notice they just made feature article (and front cover) of Unrestrained magazine. It seems like only yesterday when we reviewed their demo at Royal Carnage. Glad to see Mr Gold getting some recognition in the press. Wouldn't they seem like a good fit for HC 3?
