Wish list for PP8! What's yours?

It's hard to make a wish list, as I usually DISCOVER bands from the progpower lineup. A few bands that would be great to see would be Freedom Call, Sonata Arctica (give them a choir!), Iced Earth, Helloween, Leaves Eyes, or a couple outsiders...Russell Allen...maybe Demon Hunter? Who knows.

ok...this is the 2nd of probably 100 of this same thread, so l'll just copy my list from the original

Headliners:

Vanden Plas (hell yeah!)
Pretty Maids

Fill in the slots:

Tarot
Redemption
Dragonforce
Vicious Rumors
Cloudscape
Anubis Gate
Mnemic
Astral Doors (another hell yeah!)

oh...l'm game for Andromeda, good band, good material...Dream Theater covered part of their song "Encyclopedia" on their Instrumedley (l think) coupla years ago...so substitute if you feel the need

I'll post it here too :)...
OK this line up would make me cry like a little girlllllll!!!!
Piss my pants !!!! and Kill a million people for Allah!!!!

Preparty:

Rebellion
Ephel Duath
Divison
Vision Divine

Friday:

Elvenking
Battlelore
Threshold
Anathema
Sonata Arctica

Saturday:

Come on that would kick Ass!!! :)

Tarot rule!!!

@ EvilGrit, ALowerDeep & Ascension:
Thanks a million times for being on my side at that one!!! :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

Did I just say that I doubt if we can make it to PP8? (as we're from Germany). Nonsense!!
To see Tarot play the Center Stage, I'll start saving all my money right away!

2nd favourite would be Nightwish (no matter what singer, as long as Marco is with them).

The rest of my wishlist:
Masterplan -even without Jorn-,
Ayreon (or better: Star One with Russel Allen),
Threshold,
Heed,
Communic,
Cloudscape,
Balance of Power,
Brainstorm.
Axel Rudi Pell, too.

I thought nothing could top the Evergrey performance of this year, but ...
ooh, dreaming of this one, I'm not sure anymore!

Whoever Glenn picks is good with me.. We are of like mind, so I know it will rule, no matter fuckin what..

Bear

NP: Breaking Benjamin- The Diary of Jane---- Very cool tune!!!

There is no loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

I'd welcome any form of a Dream Theater side project(i.e. OSI, Liquid Tension Experiment, or Platypus).

Other bands:

Redemption
Engine
King's X
The Gathering
Fates Warning (especially since they didn't really tour for the last cd)

I posted on the previous thread about PPVIII requests, but I thought I would post a more up-to-date and more day specific wish list:

Pre-Show:
1. Benedictum
2. In Extremo
3. Wuthering Heights
4. Freak Kitchen

Friday:
1. Xandria
2. Green Carnation
3. Edenbridge
4. Brainstorm
5. Pagan’s Mind

Saturday:
1. Cloudscape
2. Adagio
3. Lordi
4. Doro (or Stream of Passion)
5. Helloween

hey hey EvilGrit, - that's not what it takes! He would be very upset to learn you did that. :guh:
Rather get yourself over here some day, he's doing a lot of touring in Little Ol' Germany, and festivals, too. And YES, - the shows are worth every cent, IMHO.

Take care
