Motorhead Announces U.S. Tour

Rock legends Motorhead have announced a huge headlining U.S. tour scheduled to kick off in September. The rock gods will be joinined by a host of support acts including Misfits, Airbourne, Valient Thorr and Year Long Disaster.

The tour dates are as follows:

September 3 - San Diego, California @ House of Blues
September 4 - Las Vegas, Nevada @ House of Blues
September 6 - Denver, Colorado @ The Fillmore Auditorium
September 7 - Kansas City, Missouri @ Harrah’s
September 9 - St. Louis, Missouri @ The Pageant
September 10 - Madison, Wisconsin @ Orpheum Theatre
September 12 - St. Paul, Minnesota @ Myth
September 13 - Grand Rapids, Michigan @ The Orbit Room
September 18 - Baltimore, Maryland @ Rams Head Live
September 19 - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania @ The Electric Factory
September 20 - New York, New York @ Roseland Ballroom
September 21 - Asbury Park, New Jersey @ Stone Pony Parking Lot

They aren't coming anywhere near SAn Jose/SF. Too Bad because I'd love to see Airbourne again, those guys ROCK!!! Oye!!

They probably cannot announce a Chicago date until after their appearance at the Masters of Metal tour stop on August 19th. It looks like they left September 11th open for a Chicago stop.

luckily I will be seeing them on the Metal Masters tour, so I don't have to sit through these horrible opening acts.

Misfits were cool 25 years ago but haven't done anything worthwhile since then. The other openers are just bad. I'd like to see Motorhead eventually though.
