Ironically, I had a steak last night for dinner and it wasn't fillet!!!!! :eek:
 
I just got done eating steak, and it was awesome.

I prefer to be able to taste meat when I cook my steak, none of this overly-fancy pussy marinade shit. Just coat the steak in olive oil, a bit of salt and pepper and a tiny bit of garlic powder.

Then just whack in into a dry pan that's as hot as it can be. I'm talking smoking-like-hell hot here. Then cook for about two to three minutes on each side, then turn off the heat and let it sit in the pan for about a furthur four or five minutes or so. Your end result should be amazing piece of steak, which actually tastes of beef, is nicely seared and is cooked though yet is still mouth-wateringly juicy. Dry steak is shit, you might as well eat leather.
